Homesteaders Daughter: Big Girl Room

We have been slowly transitioning Finley into her big girl room.  About a month ago we got her a twin size bed and put away her crib.  She was in love with having a big girl bed, but we soon began the struggle of her getting up out of bed instead of just going to sleep.  We had the mattresses right on the floor and realized we needed to get a frame and put it up a bit (this has actually helped a bit).  She has a very very tiny room so we had to do some major moving around of furniture to accommodate her big girl stuff!  The end result is a really cute vintage inspired toddler room.  And Finley loves it!

The hutch to the left we had as her changing table and the bookcase was on the ground.

On this wall is her vintage toy box and I re-arranged the fabric project I did here

Finley has a TON of vintage books.

I moved her name over to this wall.  I found this adorable headboard at a thrift store for $8!  And I had to keep the Happiness Train picture... Who doesn't like a happiness train??

This last corner holds her vintage doll high chair and some more vintage art.
As you can see, I kept a lot the same.  Wall color, artwork, etc...  She is only two and likes all this stuff still.  When she gets older we will move her to the bigger room.  Unfortunately that will mean that Ally will be older and off to college (!what?!) leaving that room vacant.  But until then, this little room is perfect for my little Finley.

So what do you guys think?
